Details from the source

System self-issued BWN on 8/19/26 when pressure was lost in the distribution system due to a water main break. Department was notified 8/20/26 and system was provided with PN template and certification form. BWN will remain in effect until pressure restored and 3 clean TC sample results are received.

What to do now that it is lifted

  1. Run cold taps for a few minutes (start with the highest faucet in the house) to flush household pipes.
  2. Throw away ice and drinks made with unboiled water during the advisory; run the ice maker through three cycles.
  3. Replace refrigerator and point-of-use filter cartridges as the manufacturer recommends.

Always follow the instructions of the issuer — the water system or health authority. This page is an independent summary, not an official notice.
