Details from the source

The Rampart public water system (PWSID 300816) placed themselves on a boil water notice on 8/25/2026, due to a scheduled cleaning of their water storage tank (WST). The boil water notice will remain in effect until the cleaning is completed and an adequate number of clean total coliform have been collected and reported from distribution. System was sent BWN PN ahead of time but phones and internet were down. Received call from operator 9/1/26 reporting the timing of the tank cleaning and requesting updated BWN paperwork for posting. Updated BWN PN sent 9/1/2026

What to do now that it is lifted

  1. Run cold taps for a few minutes (start with the highest faucet in the house) to flush household pipes.
  2. Throw away ice and drinks made with unboiled water during the advisory; run the ice maker through three cycles.
  3. Replace refrigerator and point-of-use filter cartridges as the manufacturer recommends.

Always follow the instructions of the issuer — the water system or health authority. This page is an independent summary, not an official notice.
