Details from the source

BWN issued system wide due to stock of coagulant running out and treated water running low. BWN will be closed when coagulant is back in stock, water is being treated and verified with operator report data, water storage tank levels restored, and clean TCR samples are received.-gek 2/26/26

What to do now that it is lifted

  1. Run cold taps for a few minutes (start with the highest faucet in the house) to flush household pipes.
  2. Throw away ice and drinks made with unboiled water during the advisory; run the ice maker through three cycles.
  3. Replace refrigerator and point-of-use filter cartridges as the manufacturer recommends.

Always follow the instructions of the issuer — the water system or health authority. This page is an independent summary, not an official notice.
